Terms of Use

App "Tap Here" — effective October 16, 2026, updated October 18, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the app. By using the app, you agree to them. The license to use the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) on iPhone, and by the Google Play Terms of Service on Android.

2. What the app does

An AI (Claude, by Anthropic, PBC) reads the screenshot you choose, marks where to tap with numbers and circles, and explains the steps in text and speech. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy.

3. The AI can make mistakes

The AI may misread a screen or point to the wrong place. Before you tap, check that the guide matches the words on your screen.

Be especially careful with things you cannot undo, such as payments and money transfers, purchases, contracts, deleting data, and changing settings. If you are unsure, ask a family member or someone nearby before you tap.

4. About the "Caution" note

The app may show a "Caution" note on screens that look suspicious, such as ones asking for money or a PIN. It cannot recognize every scam. No "Caution" note does not mean a screen is safe. If something feels wrong, do not tap — ask a family member or contact your local consumer protection office.

5. Please do not

6. Plans and payment

A monthly or yearly plan (an auto-renewable subscription) is required to use the app. Prices are shown on the sign-up screen and on the App Store or Google Play.

7. Daily limit

Because each request costs us AI usage fees, each person can use the app up to a daily limit (currently 100 times). The count resets at midnight Japan time (UTC+9). To prevent abuse, the service may be temporarily unavailable when overall usage is very high. We may change the limit after giving notice.

8. Prohibited use

9. Changes to the app

We may change the app or stop providing it. We will announce major changes that affect paid plans, or the end of the service, in advance on this page or in the app.

10. Liability

You decide for yourself whether to take the actions the app suggests. We are not responsible for any damage arising from your use of the app.

This does not apply where applicable law, such as consumer protection law, makes us responsible. Even then, except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the month the damage occurred.

11. Changes to these terms

We will announce changes to these terms on this page, and in the app for major changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without limiting any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.
